I already turned off and on the notifications. And restarted the phone but still see the same pop-up: 11 data files downloading... 0%
This issue only happened around 3 days ago. Before that the app was working great.
What if I uninstall and re-install the app? But I'm afraid I might need to pay for SkySafari 6 Plus again, since I paid using the old phone. I wonder if the app can recognize that I already paid when I re-install to the new phone?
Mine is version 6.8.6.3 .

Keiron Smith You would not be required to pay again, so long as you are logged into Google Play Store using the same account used to make the original SS6 Plus purchase.
Google Play Store > My Apps & Subscriptions > SS6 Plus
That said, I don't think re-installing with resolve this issue. Developers are aware of it. And, the notification does not affect the use of SS6 Plus.
So, just ignore it for now. We will release an update soon that will the issue.

I'm afraid you're wrong. The notification does affect the use of SS6 Plus. With the pop-up appearing, I am not able to press any icons in the background. All the icons have been dimmed even though I can still see stars moving in the background.

Hold down the SS6 app icon > App Info > Notifications > Turn off, then turn on notifications.
Does that fix it?
