Kposchinger Hi,
I have here 5 Screenshot:1 SkySafari 7 with Scope not connected. The CCD Frame is always orientated to the Zenith.2. SkySafari 7 with Scope connected. The CCD Frame is now orientated in the right direction but not centered.Scope connected with switched off the Sope controls.3. SkySafari 6 with Scope not connected. The CCD Frame is alway in the center and when I center another Object the CCD Frames stayed in the center.#Anothe oject is centered. The behavior in SkySafari 6 is much better for planning observations!GreetingsKonstantin -
Keiron Smith Konstantin,
We are working on this with the beta version. Would you like to be a beta tester?
If so, please read and reply to the following link:

Then you can download and install the beta and check the improvements made regarding this issue.
Thanks!

Keiron Smith Konstantin,
You have been included in the beta, please download the latest version using TestFlight.
Thanks!

Kposchinger In Testflight they ask for a Code. Where I can get it?

Kposchinger Hi Keiron,
it took a long time for downloading the Beta version. Now I can test.
The first thing I have seen, is that the CCD frames are now handled better. But I don't understand why you change the orientation if you set to Local. I still want to plan and see what is happening in the sky with my existing setup.

Kposchinger Hi,
if you highlight an objekt there are only this 4 short lines visible. The objekt itself is not brighter than others. If you are looking and try to find obkect you can not be sure wich one you have selected.
-
Keiron Smith Konstantin,
Please include a screenshot 4 short lines visible.
Thanks!
-
Kposchinger I serch for IC4628. First SkySafari 6 then SkySafari7
-
Kposchinger As you can see the small 4 short lines are not so easy visible and you have to find out to which objekt it belongs.
-
Keiron Smith Sorry,
I still do not understand what small short lines you are referring to.
Please use the iOS screenshot Mark Up tools to circle the lines in questions.
Thanks!
-
Kposchinger You can see how difficult it is
-
Keiron Smith Great screenshot, now I see to what you are referring!
Please send me a settings file: ksmith@simcur.com
Thanks!
-
Keiron Smith Thank you for the settings file!
How would you propose the issue with elected object cross-hairs visibility be improved?
-
Kposchinger The solution in Version 6 was better. There the objekt itself is highlithed. Better it would be if the color would change to another one.

Kposchinger Hi Keiron,
this is not a bug report, Just a wish. Do you think it is possible to show a horizon line when the screen shows the Equator view?
