How Come SkySafari On Android Is Stuck Transferring Files? (Answer: Get The Beta And Test The Fix)

I got a notification on my phone today that says "Transferring - Additional file for SkySafari 6 Plus". It's been stuck on this for 4 hours now. Tried restarting my phone and the notification reappeared again. Can't dismiss the notification. Anybody know what's going on?
