How Come The Starry Night SkyGuide Is Not Working? (Solution: Reinstall SN8 Resolved The SkyGuide Issue!)

I'm new to stargazing with a Starsense Explorer Telescope.

I have downloaded the complimentary Starry Night programme to my pc.

When I click onto any of the icons (which eventually appear) e.g. the Welcome Tour I get "Cannot read this page"/"Navigation to the Website was Cancelled"

Can anyone help...please?

    1. What program are you using?
    2. What OS are you using?
    3. What ISP (Internet Service Provider) are you using?
    4. Please attach a screenshot of what you are seeing.

    Thank you Keiron for picking up my query regarding downloading Starry Night.

    I eventually wondered if the problem might be that the programme had not fully/properly downloaded/installed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it (several times) and eventually it fully installed and is now working as it should.

    Many thanks for your interest in trying to assist me with my problem.

    For my part, I don't really WANT to uninstall it and reinstall. I've spent too much time tuning it to be the way I want it to be. If it's all the same, I'd rather find the real reason the SkyGuide isn't showing up.
