It takes 17 seconds and longer (timed) to bring up a list of “show observations”. Moreover, after selecting an observation to view it repeats the very slow wait time to go back to the previous list of observations. This seems too slow.

Hi Keiron. Mostly based on Deep Sky Wonders book so about 8-14 per list. I have a couple with ~20 so about a thousand. I would hope to have a search take little longer than an iPad main screen system search with results in well under 5 seconds. With result temporary storage to eliminate what seems to be a repeated data search collection backing out from reading a result. Seems like it based on the similar time frame 17+ second delay.
Likely, the time it is taking has to do with syncing through all that data on LiveSky.com. But, I can't say for sure. So, let's see what Kyle says.
