Shawano schools IT department reported the following about Kiosk mode:

We found that putting our Chromebooks in Kiosk mode helped. Our students can shortcut the chromebook to take it out of kiosk mode if they need to work on something else. This is the best solution for us. The program runs fast and other students can use it for other things.
