    Hi Umesh,

SkySafari can not be installed in an external SD. Google Play automatically downloads SkySafari's extra data to the internal SD card; the location is not configurable. We are looking at alternate ways of solving this problem. In the meantime, you may be able to solve the problem yourself, by moving some other apps, movies, songs, etc. from your internal SD card to your external SD card and freeing up some space.

    Dear Mam /Sir,

    Thanks for replying.

You should come up with solution.  I have 8gb internal memory out of which 2 gb is not usable then I have only 6gb out of which lot of it is taken by system,
Conclusion is that I will only be able to use one app that will be sky safari 4 pro.
And I want mention that before upgrading to kitkat I was using jelly bean and sky safari worked fine and all my data was in external SD card.

I don't understand what has happened after upgrade.

    Kindly reply.

Google does not give us an option to install the app on the external SD card. They basically pretend that it does not exist as far as app installations.

We have had a few people solve this problem by moving the data to the external car and making symbolic links on the internal card location to point to the files on the external card.

SkySafari will run slower if the data is on an external card. That memory is not as fast as the internal card's memory.

    Dear Mam /Sir,

Can you tell me the technique how I can use it on external SD card.

I have used it previously in jelly bean rom but now I have Kitkat.

The external SD cards are now very fast now, some forums even say that they tested some new 32 gb cards their speed was more than internal SD card.

Kindly tell me some techniques for Kitkat.

    Bill Tschumy replies:

I cannot really tell you any techniques. If you don't know how to make symbolic links then I probably shouldn't have you changing things this way. It is likely to get confusing.

All I can really do is offer a refund. If you want to get SkySafari Plus, that requires much left space (about 380 MB I believe). If you want a refund, tell me the email address you used when purchasing the app and I will refund the purchase.

    Ticket update:

    Dear Mam /Sir,

I really like the app. I don't want refund.
May be later I will buy another phone of big memory then I will use it.
I will try to find somebody who could do the technical things you say like symbolic links etc.

You have done really good job in making the app, keep up the good work.

Thanks very much for your support. Take care
