Trying to connect to Skyfi , and this is what I get “SkySafari can't make a wireless connection to the scope. Make sure you've joined its Wi-Fi network and entered its IP address correctly.”
Trying for a month to make this work with my Meade lx 90 497 hand controller.
Keiron Smith replies:
Hi Charlie,
First, please reset the SkyFi.
Second, after the reset, please power cycle the SkyFi.
Third, join the SkyFi network. You should be able to go to 10.0.0.1 in the Safari browser and see the SkyFi config page.
Fourth, go to the SkyFi config from within SkySafari (using the button in the Scope Setup page).
If that is not working then check to see if the Auto-Detect is ON. If so, turn it OFF and use 10.0.0.1.
Fifth, in SkySafari, Set Time & Location" OFF.
Once all the above is working, try connecting again.
Please let me know if this helps.
