Skysafari and Celestron "Starsense"

    The new Version of SkyPortal (an App derived from Safari 4 Plus) offers Support for The Celestron
    "StarSense-Modul". As I prefer Skysafari I wold like to know if or when the Starsense-HW will be supported by SkySafari4Plus?s

    Hi Werner,

    Starsense will be included in SkySafari 5 Pro and Plus very soon - maybe a month or two. So, you need to update to SkySafari 5. I don't believe it will be included in SkySafari 4.

      Hello, currently I am using Skysafari Pro 5 on an Ipad pro, and I have a Nexstar 8 SE, witn Starsense and Skyq Link, but recently I moved to another city, and I can't find how to reset the alignment points on Skysafari, do I have to factory reset the Starsense? Do I have to reinstall the app on the Ipad? Help on this matter would be very appreciated.

      Edgar, I just joined this forum and was browsing and found this discussion. I would think that if you manually change the location (coordinates) and time (if in a different time zone) that would be enough to do a new alignment with StarSense.
