Hello, this is a helpful information. I just want to make sure what kind of extension cable we can use for this purpose. From serial to RJ-11 port, we need to use the specific cable according to the mount (telescope-specific RJ-11 serial connector), right? Can we just use a normal RJ-11 cable extension (which I can get at anywhere) between "Serial-RJ-11" adapter and mount? Or is it better to use the serial cord extension (RS-232) between Skywire and telescope-specific RJ-11 serial connector? I am a bit cofused ... Thank you for your time.

Does your Celestron AVX have an RS232 port on the hand controller or a USB port?

Ok, so, you use our SkyWire (with SkySafari on an iOS device) with a Celestron-specific RS232 cable which we sell here:

      Thats all you need.

Thanks. But my primary question is how to extend the cable ... is it RS232 serial extension cable I need to insert between the connector you just showed me and skywire serial side (I believe it is a female, so need male to male serial extension cable), or other cable for other places?

The RS232 must be Celestron-specific. Not ANY RS232 will do. See here about building custom cables.
