Starry Night 8 FOV Indicators (mac)

Hi, I just upgraded to SN8 from Skysafari 7 and I'm having problems with the FOV indicators.  When I logged into my LiveSky account, the equipment synced down, but it wasn't showing when I turn on FOV indicators.  So I tried removing everything and re-adding them, thinking there was some compatibility isssue.  Even after putting in my equipment and cameras, I can't get them to display on the screen.  Also, the checkmarks for the Telrad and Rigel Quickfinder won't turn back off once they are turned on.  In Skysafari I was able to selectively turn on and off FOV indicators, is that not possible with Starry Night?
