Cardinal Points Missing From Field of View Circles (Solution: Reboot Device)

In SS7 Pro (happened before the 7.1 update too), the cardinal points do NOT display when selected.

 

Here you see they are selected:


And the version from Help:

 

This worked fine in SS 5.


Though the selection menu was located in a different spot:

I tried different view modes, looks like it was another thing missed in the new versions.

    Thanks for help. The Cardinal points were OFF, so I checked the boxes. It will be a couple of days before I can test it due to ongoing cloud cover. Thanks again. I will post once I get a clear night to run a test.

    Working now.

    A few days have passed, I’ve completely powered off my iPad in the interim.

    Just came in from a quick viewing through the clouds with a new to me pair of Jason Clippers and wanted to log the viewing of Orion (and with an 11° FoV, I see a lot of Orion at a time) and noticed the Cardinal points showing up now.

     


    Guess I’m good.

     

    My version of the app here remains the same as when I posted this earlier.

    Glad you are all good. I’m still stuck with the problem. It now seems that the sync issue lies with an update of Synscan Pro about a week ago. Another person with the same problem and who has multiple iOS devices and a couple of software versions was able to work that out. Time will tell.
