As a visual astronomer I will look at quite a number of objects each session. I log the observations using SkySafari. A feature that might be neat is to be able to rate objects one to five stars. That way I could return to objects that I liked by listing my 5 star objects. I wonder if this is a feature that others might find useful?
If this feature is already there, I have not found it yet!
Have you tried to set up an observing list that you can place your favorite observations into? You could have a list named anything you choose.

I love that idea, maybe a 10 point scale, show me any object I've rated 8 or over that is currently higher than 40 in altitude.
This idea is a good one - a visible rating would allow you to sort through a lot of objects and/or observing notes easily
