I would like the ability to initialize my Mach1GTO CP4 mount via the SkySafari Android app.

Bill Tschumy Joe,
Thanks for reminding us about that. We did enter into a discussion with AstroPhysics about how to do this. The document they sent us was quite involved. I asked for a simpler protocol and I don't believe they got back to us. I will try to follow up on this.

Joel Short Thanks Bill. I figured that was the case. AP has a lot going on right now.

Joel Short Hi Bill (or whomever),
I'm just curious if there has been any movement on this (initialize AP mounts)? I have communicated a bit with Astro-Physics and they were not aware of anything else that you need in order to make this happen.
Keep up the good work!

Bill Tschumy I'm sorry but we just haven't had time to pursue this. It is still on the list though.

Joel Short No worries Bill. This was not a complaint at all, I was just curious if anything has happened.

Luke Leege I too am eagerly hoping this gets worked out.

Joel Short I just wanted to say a big thank you for implementing this feature. It is the coolest thing to be able to quickly power on my Mach1 CP4, connect to the CP4 wifi network, and connect the scope in SkySafari and control the mount. It is so easy!
