Would love a quick way to turn off/ on labels, and names. Make it a button under rings and flip buttons
Sometimes it can get very crowded with all the labels and names. You just want to see the stars only

Bill Tschumy I haven't gotten any requests for this previously so I don't know how popular it would be. Lets see if others up-vote it.
Everyone has their own feature they want to toggle quickly. I can't put a lot more buttons in the popup panels. Screen space is fairly precious on small phones.

wtxnitz You didn't mention which platform, but macOS and iOS both have name density controls under stars and deep sky categories. Also, all types have label on/off switches. I assume you're asking for a global on/off toggle. On rare occasion, I would have like such, but not often enough to divert effort from other features. Another option that helps de-clutter is under deep sky, "show best known only" if you're not digging deeply there - just general sky hopping.

Anthony Spina Not an issue with MacOS. Needed on iOS and android do to small screen size
