Khosrownia I was going to say that when in orbit mode with sun in the center of the view and viewing the solar system, the meridian cannot be hidden from display and while the earth is way out there and spinning about itself the meridian spins about the head of the user.
I a, attaching a snap of the settings page that show the selections to show meridian are disabled.

Khosrownia And here is a snap of the meridian in action

Bill Tschumy It should not be possible to get in a situation where the meridian is shown in Orbit mode. Obviously you have found a way. We do disable turning the meridian on and off because it makes no sense in Orbit mode.
Without knowing how you got in this state, it is hard to proceed. If you don't mind reverting to your default settings, you can try that and see if you can get it in this state again. To do this go to Settings > Save & Restore Settings and choose the "Revert Chart to Factory Defaults" option.
I'm curious, in the screen shots all the text in the "buttons" is underlined. Is there some Accessibility setting in iOS that does that? I've never seen that before.

Dean All of my button text is underlined as well. I know of no setting for this.
iOS 9.3.5.

Khosrownia I am not sure what the underline is about, I don't see any in the snaps that I shared. As to the question about how I did it, really I didn't do anything special. I first select the sun, then orbit, then I choose those two buttons to position the solar system far enough and then I speed it up so that I can see what is happening. That is all that I do. But then when I go to "settings" to see if I can turn the meridian off I see it as being disabled.
This is on the iOS, by the way.
Thanks
