Since upgrading to 5 plus for android, I noticed that polaris is not close to the zenith, as it should be very close relative to my geographic location.. I tried only having a single version on my device and have tried reloading the program. Also upon first opening there was only a blank screen. Reopening seemed to solve that. Any help would be appreciated

There is no way the chart is inaccurate in the way you describe. Check to make sure that your location is correct. Also, you might check to see that your time is correct. If you run time forward are backwards a large amount (8,000 years) the position of Polaris will be different du to precession.
