I've got the following message when updating starrynight pro plus to the latest version:

The update failed to install

 
Patch failed to apply to this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Starry Night Pro Plus 7\Sky Data\Locations\Earth-E.txt

Because that file failed to patch, and there's no "catch-all" update to download, the update failed to apply. The failure to patch usually happens because the file was modified from the original version. Reinstall the original version of this app

Internal error: Exception of type 'System.Exception' was thrown.

  Please delete the current app and reinstall brand new.  You can get your download links from here:

  I bought Starry Night Pro Plus 7 some years ago and received regular updates. There was no problem. I bought now a new computer: BELL 3597 i7. and use the original install disc to install the program  Every thing went well except that the updates are missing. I tried Help/Check for updates. and get a message:: "No Updates Available" I enjoy the program very much and the missing updates like SKYGUIDE etc are a great disappointment !! I'll appreciate your help very much.

  I have resent your download links to your email inbox.  Please do not use the original disc for any further installations.  Always install from your download links.
