When you look at the Moon it dominates the part of the sky where it is located, particularly when it is close to a full Moon. But if you have Surfaces on in SkySafari, the Moon is actually quite dark, and can easily be missed. Is it possible to make the SkySafari view look more realistic with a brighter Moon when not zoomed in on the Moon, or only showing the realistic surface when zoomed in closer?

Bill Tschumy We display a scaled down, actual image of the Moon when zoomed out. That is the brightness of the image. In SS5 we did brighten it to partly address this very issue. We can continue to investigate if there is another way to increase the brightness.
