I'm using SkySafari 5 Pro through the mini USB on the bottom of the StarSense HC.

David Haslam Tested using the NexStar+ HC
Tracking remains enabled during SkySafari connect/disconnect.
Must be something in the StarSense HC

Bill Tschumy I seem to recall the Celestron engineers mentioning a problem like this. I will email them to confirm.

Bill Tschumy It does seem to be a problem specific to the StarSense HC. Celestron thinks turning off Set Time & Location in the SkySafari Scope Setup settings might be a work around. Could you try that?

Chris Watson David can you confirm bill's workaround works? I kind of cringe thinking I will lose tracking if I pull the trigger on the StarSense. :-O

Has anyone noticed the following?
Tracking is disabled every time you connect using SkySafari.
I can go into the HC and turn tracking back on and it seems to work again until the next disconnect/connect occurs.
Is this a bug? Is it in the StarSense HC or the SkySafari software?
