Today, at about 13:30 San Francisco Time, SkySafari 5Pro issued a notification for Sun Rise! I checked for local time setting and it is correct. Am I interpreting this wrong? Is the notification a glitch?

Bill Tschumy Are you sure you chart location was set to San Francisco? I would be a bit surprised if this is a bug since the code has been in use for about a year and a half.

Andrew Sauls Location is actually set Current Location .. to Novato California USA 94945, however for the use of communication in the Forum I just stated San Francisco Time as it is indeed the same time. Novato is in the North Bay of the San Francisco Bay. Here's a screenshot ..

Bill Tschumy If you tap the Tonight button in the toolbar, is the Sun rise/set shown there correct? We use the same information to deliver the notifications.

Gave a message that Sun is rising ( at 4 .22 pm ) !!
In fact Saturn was rising at that time.
Is this a bug ?

Astromaniac Szozda Same sky safari 7 pro - sun rise around 1pm as i remember , the time under "tonight" submenu is correct... And It just reported GRS transit , which is correct , despite that Jupiter is invisible and has around -30 degrees declination now.
