i can´t get connection between Starsense (Mini USB) via Sky wire to Ipad mini 4 /Sky safari 5 pro

Hallo Team!

I failed trying to connect  StarSense for skywatcher  with Sky Wire  (lithning) to Ipad4 mini and sky Safari 5 pro. In Lack of finding the right cable (mini USB to RS 232) i used different Adapter Units to get sky wire physically connected (mini USB to USB-RS-232 mail to female). But unfortunately i can´t get any responce between my iPad an the Teleskope (Skywatcher NEQ5 goto). Please give me advice how to proceed? Sencerely Michael

  You can't put a USB-To-RS-232 adapter between the SkyWire and the serial cable going to the StarSense HC.  Those only work after you install drivers in the computer and there are no driver in the SkyWire.  The SkyWire cannot be used with that HC.
