Do I Have What I Need To Connect SkySafari On macOS To My Skywatcher AZ/EQ6?

Hi,

My Skywatcher AZ/EQ6 comes with a Serial cable. And I have a Serial to USB adapter. Will this hardware work to control my telescope's mount via my mac?

    Did you have any joy getting your scope to link with SkySafari?

    I have never been able to get this to work in my earlier version of SkySafari (version 1.8). Now I have started using SkySafari 6 Pro I would really like to get this working if it is possible. I have a SkyWatcher Synscan goto scope (Alt/Azimuth) with the RS232 update cable connected to a Prolific USB to Serial adapter and the latest Prolific driver installed and I am having no joy!

    Any help would be appreciated.
