How Can I Unfollow Posts That I Created (Such As This One) And Posts That Others Created?

I currently am following (subscribed to) the announcements sub forum that is titled:

"SkySafari | Announcements (Dev Posts Only)
Please subscribe to this forum if you wish to be notified of special offers and announcements regarding SkySafari."

Since you decided to have everyone reply to the beta test thread in the Announcements forum, I now get an email every time someone does.

Is there any way to unsubscribe from only the beta test thread while staying subscribed to the Announcements sub forum?

Thanks.

    Hi Dean,

Apologies for the flood of emails.  I will reconsider the format in the future.  You can unfollow from that post specifically, and still follow the rest of the forum.

While following the whole forum it looks like you can open any specific post, and choose "unfollow".  That should the trick.

Thanks for your feedback, and patience.

    Keiron,

When I open the post: "Beta Testing SkySafari 6 (iOS Only) - Read This To Participate!", the only option is to "Follow". If I select Follow, it then changes to "Following". I can then select Unfollow, but that just puts me back to where I was (unless toggling it to Follow and back to Unfollow somehow unsticks it, in which case it's a bug).

When I open the subforum "SkySafari | Announcements (Dev Posts Only)" it definitely says "Following", which is what I want at that level.

So unless my fiddling with the Follow/Unfollow option in the Beta thread fixed the problem it will still be an issue.

I'll let you know if I still receive Beta thread posts. (Although it's more of a trickle than a flood now.)

    HI Dean,

I'm guessing that having the post Beta Testing SkySafari 6 (iOS Only) - Read This To Participate!" showing the "Follow" option means you are in the unfollow state.  And, that it overrides the global setting at the level above.  But, it is possible that it does not, in which case, I am sorry that I can't help at this time, but also, grateful we are down to a trickle now.

    Additional information:

After further examination it appears that I can unfollow threads that I create (such as this one) but not threads that others create. Somehow this doesn't seem right. If this forum was built "in-house" perhaps someone could have a look at that.

    Update:

Fiddling with the Follow/Unfollow option in the Beta Test thread had no effect. Still getting email replies to that thread.

Additional question. Why is one of my previous posts in this thread still marked "Pending Approval"?
