Starry Night 7 Pro Plus Crosshairs

We are running a Meade 16" LX200/GPS. Software and telescope are working/talking to one another just fine.

However when I choose a target example: Jupiter, and tell Starry Night to slew to Jupiter, the telescope slews fine, even has Jupiter in the fov (yayy!) but the cross hairs on the computer screen do NOT line up with Jupiter...they are down and to the right, away at least by a couple of degrees.... I've tried the "Align with Object" when I right click the mouse....but it has no effect. What am I missing?

Thanks!

This posting is over five years old and no one has responded to it.  I have the same problem with a Meade LX200 GPS 14".mounted in polar mode.  The cross hairs are offset from the object.  It seems like it may be a time zone or DST issue, but all changes made to those settings were to no avail?  Any ideas what causes this problem?
