I am running SS Pro4 on ipad ios 10 and it has recently become painfully slow to bring up previous observations. Would the SS5 Pro fix this issue?
Also, will there ever be the ability to cross list obseravtions into different lists? Right now I have to create a new observing list and re-record an observation made from another list. Hershel 400 is what I am looking at, trying to find all the obs that are already done.
We are totally redoing how observing list and observations are handled in SkySafari 6. In SS6 the observations will not be tied directly to an observing list. We will provide conversions from the old format to the new so you won't lose your existing work.
As far as it being slow, what exactly are you doing? Are you trying to show all observations of an object? That can get slow if you have many observing lists with many objects in each. Is that your situation? This will be corrected in SS6.

From the object information area, I go to "show observations", then if I hit the lower right hand button that says "observations", and bring up "show observations". its very slow to bring up the list and object even when the object is only on 1 list. If the object is in a list and I hit "edit observations" it comes up right away.
Right, that is the functionality that can get slow with many lists and many objects in them. That will be fixed.
We are shooting for an iOS release around the end of the year. Mac & Android will follow in a few months.
