How do I show the path of Jupiter as viewed from earth?

  Search for Jupiter

  Right click on Jupiter (name in result) >>> Center

  Right click on Jupiter (name in result) >>> Show Path

  That was a very speedy answer!
  That indeed shows the path.
  Is there a way to easily display retrogate motion? Somehow mark it?

  Hi Henry, 

  • Search for Jupiter
  • Right click on Jupiter (name in result) >>> Center
  • Right click on Jupiter (name in result) >>> Show Path
  • Set Date to Feb 21st 2018.
  • Set Time Flow to Discrete Time Steps: Sidereal Days
  • Step Time Forward day by day.
  • At Approximately March 8th you will see Jupiter begin to go retrograde - finishing about July 10th.
