Search for: 

C/2022 E3

Still don't see it?

In File > Preferences > change the number of comets read in at startup to 9999.  Restart SN8.  Search again.

Still don't see it?

Update the data files.  Restart SN8.  Search again.

  You can also verify the comets included in the data files update by opening the Comets.txt file.

  The Comets.txt file is in the Sky Data folder.

  Importing SN6 data to SN7/SN8 (Or: How I learned to stop worrying and love Sky Data overrides.)

  Open the Comets.txt file and search for your comet.

  If the comet is not listed you can add the comet manually via File > New > New Comet
