Can Celestron's CPWI And SkySafari + StarSense All Be Used At The Same Time? (Answer: No, Read On)

I purchased Sky Safari Pro 7 app for my  Ipad. I have been trying to use it with StarSense on my CPC 11 with a wedge.
It connects through my Celestron Wifi. 
I then do my Connect and Align. This is in Manual mode.
I can do the first star alignment just fine. It processes image, gets plate, and finds 100 stars. I now of 1 of 3 alignments.
I do the second one after slewing to a new position and Align.
It processes the image, gets plate and finds stars just fine. However, it now says I have a StarSense Error: Move to new position and try again.
So I do that and end up with Alignment Failure: Please try an other alignment. And the App is now locked up.

I love Sky Safari and have used earlier versions for years.

What's my problem?

  What happens if you use SkySafari 6 Pro?

  Please try an earlier version.

  Also, try the Auto mode.

  Please include the following info:

  1. App and version.
  2. iOS version.
  3. Device make and model.
  4. Screenshot of error message.

  I have in the past used SF 6 Pro with my Android Device and Blue Tooth and it worked but I used CPWI for alignment. I don't think SF 6 Pro has an alignment process for Star Sense. SF 7 directions say not to use the hand control so I have had it disconnected.

  Auto mode is problematical as I have a Sky Shed Pod which limits you as far as scope pointing goes but I will give it a try tonight if the weather holds.

  When using StarSense you must align the mount using SS7.

  You can not use Celestron's CPWI and SkySafari + StarSense at the same time.
