Have been receiving the verification error for a week. Rebooted my Galaxy Tab 6 Lite many times. Today deleted the SkySafari 7 Pro and tried to reinstall only to have Google Play tell me "Something went wrong. Try again." This is ridiculous. Very nice program that I can't use.

Dan Kaiser Resolved by going to the Google Play services app and deleting cache.

Alister Ling AND re-enabling Google Play Services. As recommended method to speed up the tablet I had shut that off to eliminate as many background apps as possible. SS6 Pro is getting slower to respond on a 3GB RAM android tablet. I also cleared cache of most apps. 3 GB is clearly not enough.
