Skywire works fine on my iPhone but shows nothing when I plug it into my iPad. If I hit connect an error message says “ connection failure ,could not make a wireless connection……. When I go to setup, my scope( Takahashi Temma 2) shows up but when I go to connection there is no choice for my Skywire. It should, I believe, come up as soon as I plug it in but doesn’t. Thanks

Keiron Smith Michael,
Please clarify this statement "Skywire works fine on my iPhone".
Are you saying you can successfully use SkyWire to control your scope with SkySafari on iPhone? Is so, what version of SkySafari are you using?
Thanks!

Michael Pass Thank you for your help. It took my Luddite brain awhile to collect this information. The Skywire works on my iPhone 11 Pro iOS version 16.4.1 with SkySafari 6 Pro version 6.8.5.2…… The Skywire does not work on my iPad 9th generation iOS version 16.4.1 with SkySafari 7 Pro version 7.1.8(1085). Thanks again for the help.

Keiron Smith That's is what is to be expected at this time. SkyWire does not currently work in SS7. This may change in the near future.
I will update here if there is a new SS7 beta for testing SkyWire.
Otherwise, if you want to use SkyWire you'll have to continue to use SS6. Sorry.

Michael Pass How would I go about downgrading my SS7 pro to SS6 pro on my iPad. Working off my iPhone small screen is a drag. A larger touchscreen is a must at my age. Thanks

Keiron Smith In the App Store > Purchased > search for SkySafari 6 Pro
All your previously purchased apps are available for download.
Thanks!
