There's obviously something about setting the Cablewrap feature using SkySafari-6 Pro using Celestron WiFi and StarSense I don't understand. I've got it nailed using the SS HC. But I can't get it working the way I want using just my phone (or tablet). I've checked the orange Celestron logo and scrolled down and the Cablewrap box is checked.
I think where I'm going wrong is in setting the correct start position so Cablewrap knows what its center position is supposed to be. Using the SS HC, I've learned that with mount power OFF, I rotate the mount to where I want the Cablewrap zero position to be, then rotate an additional 45° CCW, power the mount up, do a SS auto-alignment, and all is well.
But if I do the same thing using Celestron WiFi connected directly to my phone, this doesn't work as expected and the mount rotates way too far in the CW direction. So there must be a significant difference in how Cablewrap initiates and works with the SS HC and how it works in SkySafari-6 Pro.
