So, with the Skyfi on, (Purchased last month SC) I can connect to my windows desktop, and bring up the config page at 10.0.0.1, but on my ipad pro, the Skyfi shows up on the wifi page, and when I select "connect" I just get the spinning connecting icon and the message "no internet access", but no connection takes place. I have tried resetting the Skyfi and cycle powering.....no connect. For interest, I tried an Android tablet, and could not connect to that either. Ideas would be appreciated!

Woody Mark,
I'm not an Apple person so I can't help you with an iPad. But I have successfully connected my SkyFi-III to both my Win-10 machine and Android phone and tablet. And with the Android devices, I connect to SkySafari -- which is a snap once configured.
I'm guessing you're trying to use a different mount control program than SkySafari. But in case you are trying to connect using SkySafari running on an Android device, here are a few basic tips.
1) You have to select the exact mount you'll be using in your settings -- brand and model. There's a long drop-down menu with all the choices.
2) You have to select whether this mount is a GEM or Alt/Az.
3) You have to select whether you're connecting using WiFi or Bluetooth. In your case set it to WiFi.
4) Once set to WiFi there's an additional check box for letting SkySafari automatically look for the right network connection. I highly recommend you check this. Don't have to, but I recommend it.
5) And finally you have to set the WiFi network name to connect to. It's been a long time since I've used my SkyFi-III but I believe it comes with a default network name that you can change. I always change mine to something that makes sense to me -- such as WoodyzSkyFi.
6) Once you've made all those settings in SkySafari, THEN you can connect. It usually connects the first time (within 5 - 10 seconds), but not always. Sometimes you have to try again.
And lastly -- it's possible you have WiFi interference from other WiFi devices nearby -- particularly in the 2.4 GHz range. Again, it's been a long time, but I think the SkyFi-III transmits in both the 2.4 GHz range and 5 GHz range. Try the 5 GHz connection and see if that works better. It should -- if your phone or tablet supports 5 GHz WiFi.
Hopefully one of the techs will give you more and better assistance. But this might get you going.

Woody Mark,
Oh, and one more thing. I see that you posted this under the "Serial to USB" sub-topic. That confuses me as a SkyFi-III connects directly to the mount (RS-232 serial or USB), and then connects to a computer or phone or tablet via WiFi. A serial to USB adapter shouldn't be required anywhere in the system. So one of us is confused.
I was thinking that perhaps you have the wrong serial cable connected between your mount and the SkyFi-III. And that's very possible -- each mount seems to be wired for RS-232 differently. But you said that you successfully made the connection using your computer and Win-10. So that tells me your SkyFi-III must be connected to the mount properly.
Something's odd and doesn't make sense to me yet.
So yeah, I'm kind of confused.

Mark Presley Thanks, Woody for the detailed reply.......
Sorry I may have replied on this topic in error...I was originally connecting through a serial port adapter to an Argo Navis DSC on my Obsession Dob.
It was working at that time ( a few weeks ago) with Sky Safari, so, yes I have been through the SS settings extensively. I have now installed a Servo Cat Drive system with a usb connection. The problem is getting the iPad to connect to the SkyFi network to begin with, so I am guessing I’ll need
Someone with iPad experience to offer up suggestions........
