I own the latest version of SkySafari 7Pro on my iPad, and now want to download the latest update to my new M2 Mac Studio, as in indicated in the new update. However, when I go to my App store to download the app, it wants to charge me 24.99 for the app I already own.
I spent time with Apple Support, and they can see I own it, but while it should show up with a 'download cloud' icon that I should be able to click to download, I am given no such option, only the option to purchase.
Can you help?

Russ Genzmer I purchased the 7 Pro for my iPhone. Can I download it on my iPad or do I have to purchase another copy? On my iPad when I go to app store it says it is $24.99.

Keiron Smith Russ,
Look in your App Store > Account Profile > Purchased Apps (category).
No, you do not have to purchase again.
Thanks!

Russ Genzmer Nope, didn't work. It shows I purchased it on the device I purchased it on. But it does not list it on the iPad which is where I need it.

Steenkh Do you have a different Apple ID on the two devices?

Russ Genzmer No problem. I just purchased another copy. It won't break me.

Keiron Smith Russ, it is not possible to purchase ANY app twice using the same account. You can only buy an app once. There is only one version of SkySafari 7 Pro - and it is the same one for iOS and iPadOS. And it is the same one that installs on MacOS too.
If you paid again then you're using a different account.
