Sky safari 7 pro for Android crashing

The app keeps crashing only seconds after initializing. Cleared the cache, but still won't work.

    It's happening to everyone. It's big they keep telling me they're fixing. But I've been told the same thing for a month now. We're halfway past summer observing season and they haven't fixed it.

    All, Please let us know what Device you have, current Android version, and current SkySafari version.

    I am not having issues with SS7 Pro crashing. I have:

    Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
    Android 13/OneUI 5.1
    SkySafari 7 Pro Beta 7.1.8.1

    I am very frustrated with the software since its new version 7.0, a year ago. It crashes after few seconds, most of the time, or permanently shows the message "SkySafari 7 Pro does not respond" and it continues showing no matter what option is selected. I cannot use the SS7 in my tablet. At first it was a reinstall, then a patch, or a change of language, etc. When will we have a solution? The payment for this 7th version is to be justified. It is a need for us this crashing problem to be solved before any idea to issue an 8th. Samsung Galaxy Tablet A7, Android 13, SS7 7.1.8.0

    Same here. SS7 Plus (version 7.1.4.0) just started crashing on my Samsung A52 5G with Android 13. Explicitly when hitting the "Tonight" button. Other than that it still runs stable. Anyone aver had the same issue?

    I created a Bug/Regression report for that. It also happens when I select Compass from the toolbar. I'm on SS7PRO Beta 7.1.8.1 with a Galaxy S22 Ultra running Android 13/OneUI 5.1

    Just updated to 7.9.1.0. Compass and tonight on the toolbar are fixed!

    That's good! The update is not on Google Play Store yet. I hope they looked for the "SkySafari 7 Pro does not respond" issue.

    Same here again(!) since yesterday - (BTW: the crash was gone for same days)

    My Sky Safari 7 Pro was working fine until Wednesday January 24, 2024. However, since yesterday Thursday January 25, 2024 it crashes soon after I launch it. All my other apps are running fine. I tried to close all apps, restart, shut down and start again etc. but nothing seems to work. The moment I ope Sky Safari, it opens with black screen with menu buttons etc. but within seconds it crashes.

    I am using Android version 11 on my Samsung Galaxy A50.
