SkySafari 7 Crashes When Creating A Bluetooth Preset (Answer: Use The 7.1.8.1 Beta For Now!)

Hello,
my SkySafari 7 App crashes every time i want to select the bluetooth device in my telescope presets.

(Crash immediately after i press "select device")

  What Device, OS version, and SkySafari version are you using.

  I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra running Android 13/OneUI 5.1 with SkySafari Pro 7.1.8.1 and I cannot reproduce this.

  My device is a Samsung Galaxy A40, Android 11/OneUi 3.1, SkySafari 7 Plus v 7.1.4.0

  Please update to the latest version of SS7, then verify whether the issue persists.

  Where do i update the app, as my Playstore seems to have no newer version than 7.1.4.0

  Since it's Android it would be Google Play. You can try one of two things.

  First, make sure you're backed up to LiveSky. If you don't have an account, create one. It's free.

  Then unintsall and reinstall OR ask to join the Beta and install that.

  Either one should get you the latest.

  Google Play says the latest version of plus is 7.1.8.0.

  1. App and version.  See Help > scroll to the bottom.
  2. Android OS
  3. Device make and model

  I installed the beta version of SS7, which did not fix my problem, earlier today. I just did an update a few minutes ago. I do not see a version number.

  My problem seems to have disappeared after installing the  update.  I am now able to add a preset for my Meade LX-200 classic.

  My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy S5E, model number SM-T720, running Android 11.

  I will test app with scope later tonight or tomorrow.

  Hi, my problem persists even after upgrading to the beta version. After configuring the telescope, as soon as I click on connect, a connection error appears. my system Android 12 version Xiaomi Mi10T phone M2007J3SY SkySafari plus version 7.1.5.0.
