Restore SS6 Tool Bar to SS7

For my taste, the toolbar in SS7 significantly degraded from SS6.  The SS6 toolbar had nice clear symbols and font.  The SS7 toolbar text is smaller, fuzzier, and harder to read, almost like lower resolution.  Also, the icons are a bright white, which is harder on the eyes than the pleasant muted blue-green in SS6.  I see no settings option to change that.  Any thought to restoring the visually superior toolbar style of SS6?
