SNP 7 with L:X200GPS

I am using a 14" Meade LX200GPS with SNP7.  The scope connects fine with the software.  However, the cross-hair showing the scope pointing position is offset from the actual position in the sky.  It appears to be offset by an amount that would correspond with the hour difference associated with CDT vs CST.  I have tried to change the setting in the scope keypad to correct this problem.  But can't seem to get the point cursor to show in the right position.  Is there some setting in the software that would help with correcting this problem?

    Scott,

Make sure you time zone in Starry Night is set correctly.  Also the same for the Meade hand controller.

    • See Starry Night Help > User Guide
    • See Meade's User Guide

    Thanks!
