Do SS6 Plus And SS7 Plus Both Work With The Skywatcher AZ-GTI Mount? (Answer: Yes)

I've been seeing posts on Cloudy Nights that Sky Safari 7 *Pro* can work seamlessly with the Sky Watcher AZ-GTI mount. I was wondering whether Sky Safari 6 Plus can do the same? Or, if SS 7 *Plus* can? To put it another way, it SS 7 *Pro* required? I currently have SS 6+ (along with similar 4 and 5 incarnations — I’m a long-time user). Would be game to upgrade to 7 Plus, but have never needed the features and very deep databases of the Pro versions!

    Plus and Pro share the same telescope control protocols - there is no difference between them.

    Pro gets you bigger databases, and more features.

    Do Sky Safari 6 versions (Plus & Pro) also have the AZ-GTI drive ability or is that confined to the SS 7 versions?

    SkySafari 6 Plus/Pro will work too.
