I have a Celestron Advance AVX and use the Celestron SkyPortal WiFi Module. Skyportal (Current as of 10/2023 on iPhone or iPad) has no problem connecting.
Months ago, when launching Skyportal, I was notified of the upgrade offer to SkySafari 7 Plus, which I did. With identical settings as SkyPortal, SkySafari 7 PLUS will NOT connect and doesn't even detect the wi-fi, with the error: "Connection Failure. SkySafari 7 Plus cannot make a wireless network connection to the scope. Make sure you've joined its Wi-Fi network, and entered its IP address correctly." I've double-checked every setting I can find, and tried resetting the WiFi Module, but no luck. I have confirmed I have granted permission to local network, and set SF7 Plus to use german equatorial mount and celestron wifi.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
