Hi everyone. I'm turning to you because I have a problem with my new tablet. I have always used SkySafari 7 Plus with my old Galaxy Tab S2 and it was perfect for controlling my telescope via SynScan wifi module.
A few days ago I was given a Galaxy Tab S7 FE, I reconfigured everything exactly like on the old tablet, all the apps (both Synscan App Pro and SkySafari7) work, but after about a minute from connection, a message appears that the telescope is disconnected.
Everything works with both my old tablet and my iPhone 12, but with this new tablet it just doesn't work. I tried setting the reading speed value to 1, but nothing changes. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but nothing. Can you help me?

Keiron Smith Dario,
You can learn more here:
How To Connect SynScan Pro App v2.3.7 And SkySafari 6 Plus? (Answer: Read On!)
Mike Atkins is our resident SS7 and SkyWatcher Pro user - he wrote our user guide and is most aware of, and experience with, the issues encountered.
Thanks!

Mike Atkins Hi Dario,
What version of Android is on the Tab S7 FE? Right about the same time a few things came together. Android 12 was released, SkyWatcher USA released an update for the SynScan/SynScan Pro, and they changed to Kotlin for their programming environment.
The WiFi scope connection has been flaky ever since. Normally you raise the timeout and read rate to compensate for connection issues but it didn't work for me.
If you have something that works, keep using it. I've had the best results by using two devices. One for SynScan and the other for SkySafari.
