How To Connect SN8 Pro To The Rowan AZ-100 On Windows and Mac? (Answer: Read On!)

Sky Safari Pro can run the Rowan AZ-100 with the following settings - Meade LX200 Classic and type Alt-Az. Goto.

Is Starry Nights 8 Pro also able to run the AZ-100 and if so, what are the settings?

    On Mac, the Starry Night and SkySafari share the same telescope drivers and protocols - settings will be the same.

    On Windows, Starry Night uses Ascom to connect to telescopes.  You need to consult the Rowan AZ-100 manual for Ascom instructions.

    However, I will guess that if the Rowan AZ-100 accepts the Meade LX200 protocol in SkySafari then you can also use the Meade LX200 Classic Ascom protocol with Starry Night on Windows.
