Can Skysafari 7 Pro purchased for iOS be installed on Macbook Pro? Or do I have to buy it separately for Macbook from the app store?

  Hi Gyula,

  Yes, you'll have to purchase SkySafari for MacOS separately, from what I remember. My app store shows SkySafari 6 Pro as previously purchased but does nothing when I click Open. Not that I would want to use SS v6 on my Mac as I have Starry Night Pro v8 installed. SN Pro v8 has most of the features of SkySafari 7 and then some.

  Also, you can use Universal Control on your Mac to access your iPad/SS v7. I have my iPad beside my iMac and the mouse pointer will transfer over to the iPad when pushed in that direction. Some of the features maybe slightly different depending on your iPads, OS version, etc.
