Why Is SS6 Pro Showing A Different Jupiter Moon Results On Macbook Vs iPad? (Answer: Revert Settings, Update Minor Orbit Data, Set Planet/Moon Size To 100% - Read On!)

I've got SS6 pro installed both on my ipad and my new macbook air. However, when checking the motions of Jupiter's moons on 1/13/24, the ipad gives the correct results (according to Sky&Telescope) while the new macbook is way off. I've tried refresh data, update minor body in solar system, rebooting, etc. What is going on? thanks

    Dan,

    Is this still an issue?

Is this an issue with SS6 on MacBook M1/M2?

    Try the following:

    1. Revert to default settings.
    2. Reinstall the app.
    3. Update minor body in solar system (again).

Should work, no reason it won't just because it's on a new MacBook.

    Thanks!

I figured out the problem, I had set planet size at 125%, that affected the display of Jupiter's moons when zoomed in. When set to 100%, no problem. Seems like a bit of a bug though?
