When Will SkySafari 7 Pro Support The Celestron Starsense Autoguider? (Answer: Read On!)

I emailed team Celestron today about adding support for Starsense autoguider to SkySafari pro 7 and received the response below.  Perhaps there needs to be some further communication between Simulation and Celestron about this issue.  Clear the code exist as the Skyportal IOS app recognizes the autoguider.

    Please upload photos of Starsense Autoguider control panels that are available in the Celestron SkyPortal app.

    Thank you for the reply. Do you not have access to Skyportal and Celestron code? I will send a screen shot later today. I did receive the following reply from Team Celestron this morning which seems to contradict a previous thread to which on of you colleagues said Celestron was responsible for their portion of the code.

    Hello John,

    Celestron is responsible for the code as it pertains to SkyPortal, which is a joint venture between Celestron and Simulation Curriculum. It is entirely in Simulation Curriculum's court as to when and if that code gets used in SkySafari; Celestron does not have any input on that.

    Below is your own response regarding the autogider in a previous thread from November 2023.

    I understand now, and can say StarSense Autoguider is not presently supported. This is something Celestron has to do with regards to the apps, at they write and maintain the Celestron code base for Celestron WiFi connections.

    Autoguider functionality is not yet available in SS7 Plus/Pro.

    But, will probably be added sometime in 2024.

    Is there any news on this matter, so many people I know have the Celestron Starsense Autoguider and are tired of the limited functions in Skyportal App and want to use Skysafari 7 Pro. Any updates on this would be appreciated.
