Each time I close out of Starry Night, after turning on all the planets and their orbit lines, they do not show up next time I open the program. I have to go through the same effort to turn them on again in the settings menu. I can not find a setting to avoid this. Is there a way to permanently have them displayed?

Under the Options menu, you should see a Save Current Options as Default.
Anthony - Thanks for your response. I have tried that option numerous times and it still does not remember the settings for the planets.
Try also Save > Save as SNF
And, then try opening the SNF.
All your settings should be loaded.
Anthony solution is also correct, and should be working too.
