I just had to replace my XP SP3 laptop with a new windows 8 one, 64 bit version. I tried installing the Meade LTD edition Starry Night that came with my DS114AT even under the program troubleshooter (it set it up under XP SP3) but it still won't work. Keeps coming back with a 16bit error message. My questions are:
a) has anyone had this problem and know a way around it?
b) can my laptop control the DS114AT and if so what kind of adaptor do I need to do it?
