I have Starry Night Orion Special Edition and would like to know which regular version of Starry Night this most closely resembles.

  Hi Paul,

   

  Orion Special Edition is exactly the same as Complete Space and Astronomy Program (CSAP) except that Orion SE also includes the telescope control feature.  Telescope control is a feature reserved for Starry Night Pro and Pro Plus.  So, if you want to upgrade from Orion SE and still have telescope control you will need to purchase Pro or Pro Plus.  If telescope control is not essential then Enthusiast is quite a significant upgrade over Orion SE.
