Can't install Orion Special Edition on new Win7 PC

I've owned and Used the Orion Special Edition for a few years and love the software.  It worked great on my old Win XP PC.  However, I recently bought a new PC with Win7 and I can't get the program to install.  I put the disk in and run the install program, but it never completes.

When you get to the "Installing" screen on the setup software, it gets to two of the little blue bars along the bottom on the progress bar, and never goes further.  I've left it open for 2 days once to see if it went past that point, and never did.

Is there some compatibility issue with Win7 or is there something else I can try?  I can provide any relevant information if it would help.

I downloaded the Starry Night Orion Special Edition and installed it on a Dell with Win 7 Home.  The computer went out and found about 13 different pieces of Win 7 that needed to be added for Starry Night to install.  Win 7 did this on its own.  Items like . NET and other OS features.  I hope this helps.  I should have saved a screenshot of the list for sharing...next time I will.

Bill Miller - I would try to update the computer OS, Win 7.  You may want to try to install the optional upgrades ...this may help.
