Will my Celestron Nexstart 130 SLT work with Starry Night Pro? I want to control the telescope from the computer. I have a mac and PC laptop so either are an option

  Unfortunately, I do not find Ascom support for your telescope/mount. The compatible Celestron mounts include the following:

  Celestron Ultima 2000, Nexstar 5, Nexstar 8, Nexstar 11 GPS, NexStar CPC and Nexstar 114 GT telescopes (will not work with other Nexstar models).

  However, having said that, I've done a little research

  1.  I found that the Celestron Nexstart 130 SLT product page points to the Ascom webpage for a driver.  See #44 here:

  http://www.celestron.com/astronomy/telescopes/celestron-nexstar-130slt.html

  2.  And the Ascom website states that the the driver support *all* computerized Celestron telescopes.  See here: 

  http://ascom-standards.org/Downloads/ScopeDrivers.htm

  Says: "Installs a driver for all computerized Celestron telescopes"

  So, it would appear our KB article needs to be updated.  And, you have no problem using your telescope with Starry Night Pro or Pro Plus ;)

  Hi All , im wondering if you can help I have a celestron nexstar 127 slt and an trying to connect with stary night pro ver 6

  I have got the interface setup works with stary night and ipad byt its not woring on the stary night wia wifi , it works via rs232
